The immigrants’ songs from Istanbul & Izmir, the karsilamas & the antikistos (“be across, opposite, face-to-face”) dance from Thrace & Macedonia, the alipasalidika of Epirus with the similar Xiromeritika & Prevezianika are some of the seminar’s topics.
The repertoire will be studied by a music ensemble which is addressed to singers and musicians of wind & string instruments & percussionists.
Through this music ensemble the members will interact between them & will interpret these music traditions in a personal creative way .
