One of the most important aspects of the unmetered improvisational form in Turkish music known as Taksim is the art of modulating through different Makams during the course of the improvisation. This is something which requires considerable skill, imagination, and knowledge.
Senih Ündeğer is particularly well known for his highly imaginative and original Taksim during which he modulates in interesting and original ways through a broad spectrum of Makams with remarkable ease. He will impart to the students his knowledge of this art.
Seminars of all types include ten 3-hour courses and the timetable is defined in consultation with the teacher in the first lesson!
